SAGARDI BASQUE COUNTRY CHEFS - London

The bill was surprisingly high, but the front of house service was excellent. This restaurant is ideal for couples. I hope someone in London will start offering authentic Basque tapas with small plates, as it would be a hit. Overall, our first date was great. The most important thing is that she felt special and enjoyed the atmosphere and service.

We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The concept involves sharing plates, but it's not necessarily tapas. With their recommendations, we tried a variety of starters and then as a group, we all enjoyed a delicious 2kilo+ steak with sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and even the simple green salad was tasty. The wine list is extensive and a bit overwhelming, but the staff were helpful in choosing a smooth and velvety Ribera del Duero Red. We dined during lunchtime and the restaurant was quiet, but the elegant and relaxing atmosphere made for a pleasant experience. We left feeling excited to have discovered a new favorite spot for food lovers. Delicious!

The location, staff, wine, and food at this restaurant are all excellent, but it is on the expensive side, so I would recommend it more for special occasions than everyday dining. I would suggest it to anyone who enjoys steak or wine. I am looking forward to trying the fish on my next visit. I appreciate how they stay true to their Basque traditions and commitment to quality food.

Eating is good and the wine list is impressive, also great location in shoreditch. Unfortunately, the service was out and they were not happy that we redeem 50 of yums, although we announced the reservation when we arrived, etc. do not participate in the program if they do not want to follow it.
