Royal India - London

This meal was ok nothing to go mad about however the service was good and very polite. I tend to judge a meal by the restaurant itself and this place looks good at first glance but look closely and you see the plaster coming off the walls which some's this place up, average at best

Lovely authentic Indian restaurant. Food is fantastic and great value. Had the best Irish coffees in North London. Staff friendly and fun

NO STARS AT ALL Do not eat here as they do not take FOOD ALLERGIES SERIOUSLY..they cross contaminated my sons food when he had a severe nut allergy and I had told them well in advance and told them to tell the kitchen staff too my poor son was later rushed to hospital in an ambulance due to the restaurant cross contaminating he had an allergic reaction to nuts !! . The manager ALLAM or “Alan” as he calls himself is extremely rude and does not take the allergy matter seriously. I would never ever go there again and I would wholeheartedly advise you NOT TO GO THERE especially if you have any type of allergy . The manager said he was in the chef that evening just to cover himself totally disgraceful !! I hope he gets prosecuted and PUNISHED. Just to add the restaurant was horrible too and the food was served cold and didn’t taste good either. You have been warned..

I recently came to London for a weekend break and looked for a good place to eat a late lunch with my friend. I am a vegan and she is a meat eater so we were finding it hard to compromise. We stubbled upon Royal's on the way to another restaurant. It looked like a great place to eat and the waiter was very helpful saying that he could cater for me as they cooked everything fresh. I ordered a vegetable vegan Korma and it was no trouble at all for them to adjust the ingredients for me. This is so rare! My friend ordered a chicken Korma. We both enjoyed our meals, the food was gorgeous and the waiter polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Next time I am in London I will be sure to go back and have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. . Thank you for all your help.

I've eaten here both in and takeaway several times now over the years and the food is always absolutely delicious. <3
