Penny Café - London

As late-night bars go, this is the only one I know where you can actually have a conversation without raising your voice. The atmosphere is really relaxed.

Penny Café in the Old Vic is a true gem in Waterloo! The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and remarkably talented. Whether I want a vegan pastry and coffee for breakfast or a hearty lunch, this place is my go-to. The food is affordable, fresh, and delicious. They refresh the menu every few weeks, consistently introducing new and amazing dishes! I highly recommend trying it out! The late-night bar is also a fantastic experience; the team is just as passionate, and the drink menu is out of this world!

This café is a great choice for coffee if you're nearby. It offers reliable Wi-Fi and has a lively atmosphere, often frequented by staff from the Old Vic who use it as a meeting spot. Plus, the coffee is excellent!
