Locale is just down the road from my house and serves its purpose at a premium price. The service is nothing special, not great, not awful. The food is ok, go for the pizzas everything else is bland and looks boring.

My plate with steak and chips on it was cold so I asked the waitress to ask the kitchen for a hot plate. I saw the waitress go to the kitchen but I never saw her again until I had finished my meal except that I left half of the cold chips. I asked for the bill and to speak to the manager who came and told me that the kitchen was being cleaned and that the heating was turned off so they were unable to supply a hot plate.

The Italian menu focuses heavily on seafood so not great as a vegetarian but I've been told the seafood is really good! The limited veggie options are slightly lacklustre (risotto or risotto for mains... sigh) but it's a nice relaxed setting for a glass of wine or two and the outdoor tables get some lovely afternoon sun.
