I enjoyed the fried oysters special (pictured) and the steak tartare for a main. They offer a starter size and main size tartare, there wasn't a great difference in the size but the main comes with chips (not noted on menu). They had a great wine selection but the single glass prices did seem a little steep even for the City. If you are of short stature, like me, avoid the pink armchairs, you will be reaching up to get to your food! Would have also liked a coat hook or to have our coats checked as there wasn't anywhere to put them in the main seating area.
Lovely, stylish restaurant in a quaint corner of Farringdon Barbican. Food was solid, though a bit under seasoned for my taste. Would recommend if you're in the neighborhood but not worth a special visit.
Beautiful room. great food. I had brunch and although the menu is limited, the quality of eating is really high and cheap.
I had a lovely dinner here. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the smoked beetroot with hazelnuts (our favorite), sour wort croquettes, grilled zucchini and asparagus as the main dishes, along with three times boiled chips—all vegetarian. The waiter was very attentive and friendly, and the service was impeccable. I also loved the decor and atmosphere inside; it was perfect for an intimate dinner. The prices were reasonable given the location, quality, and ambiance.
This stylish new restaurant offers a great selection of delicious dishes. The sofas are attractive and comfortable, though a bit unconventional for dining. All the ingredients are of high quality, and I especially loved the sourdough bread—it was fantastic! Wishing you all the best!
