Excellent original Japanese food, service could have been a bit better, but good experience overall.

The food and service were usually very good, but there were mistakes with our order and some dishes fell under my expectations (e.g. the salmon sashimi tasted not as fresh as I had hoped and the pigeons soba noodles were not as great.) the service was very friendly as the atmosphere, but felt more like a very nice caffe than a restaurant. I was deeply annoyed by the great coral on the counter, as it is not possible to create such an object ethically. these coral will have been harvested alive from a reef and as coral are endangered, this is very annoying.

Nice eating, although atmosphere a little limp was a Thursday night fair to be. very friendly staff.

So sad that it is gone and replaced by a chic burger dump. wish them all employees and management in the future the best!

The special of the day was delicious and the chocolate fondant was a highlight. It was the first time there and we asked for recommendations and that were extremely helpful. The ambience is modern Asian and does fit to the food served. We will definitely go there again.
