Jailhouse - London

Went there for afternoon tea with my brother on a Groupon voucher. The service was excellent and the food was lovely as well as imaginative. They catered very well for an allergy to strawberries that i have. Thoroughly recommend it.

Could be outstanding Beautiful Hotel, spotless rooms, plenty of space, really like attention to details a torch in the bedside unit , great location, parking chargeable we stayed for two nights, front of house staff very helpful, We ate at the hotel one night, but wasn’t very good experience, the starters both had to be sent back as were still frozen! The Restaurant was very quiet. The gentleman serving us apologised but didnt seem to be too concerned?! The food was ok, but as customers we both really thought with a bit more attention to detail staff and Chef, it could have been very good. Such a shame. We had breakfast both mornings which was good and was replenished quiet often but the staff seemed to be distracted and not that attentive to clients themselves , I ended up with a very cold coffee one morning,and on the second morning there wasn’t any fresh orange, they said they had run out! which seemed to be really odd as they have a huge bar? we didn’t try the bar but it looked very good and a few people in . Our room did have noise or should i say vibrations from some nightclub/ bar as it stopped after 2pm, but wasn’t to bad, overall. Apart from these issues it is a lovely hotel and i would recommend it but probably not the restaurant?!

A beautiful afternoon on the stunning dach terrace! my own and three friends had been happy to visit the dach terrace that had previously visited the wonderful bar and cells! we had ordered the shaders and cocktails by groupon. at the arrival we were informed that we must stay on the ground floor bar area (like it is) to enjoy our groupon offer, but we were excited to waste a rare afternoon of sunshine. the very attentive and professional waiter was the most helpful and talked to his manager who agreed that we could stay on roof terrace to enjoy our offer. after this small hiccup, which was quickly sorted, we had the most fabulous afternoons! very good service, good food and the wine was excellent and very cheap! cocktails were amazing. the views were excellent and the clientele were a mix of everything that shoreditch and london generally makes amazing. we moved into the bar below at sunset and were well looked after by the friendly and personable bar staff there. many thanks for a nice visit! we come back.

We would have had a nice afternoon here...the whole staff was nice, help us out front with my enkel s heavy buggy....we arrived early, but on our table immediately showed and tee was served as soon as we...the selection of tees and then our sandwiches and scenes arrived...wow...delicious and so much more than I expected...in the did we had to ask for an executive bag. carol and beth

I booked through Secret Escapes as part of my hubby's birthday pressie. Not only is it in a beautiful building but its been renovated to a wonderful hotel. When we arrived we were told thst we had been upgraded from a Magistrates king room to a Dalston suite- which was a lovely surprise! The staff were very attentive and the room gorgeous. Best nights sleep ever! Never been in a hotel room where we had 3 tvs!! The bathroom was massive and had everything you could possibly have ever wanted. The only slight moan was sky wasn't working on the bedroom tv despite being reported to reception so hubby had to watch the golf in the sitting room area! Breakfast had a huge choice and was delicioud! Would love to go back for a little longer.
