I recently dined at a cozy Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. I recently moved to the area and I can't wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This charming, bustling neighborhood restaurant serves authentic cuisine with excellent service. The chef/owner is eager to guide you through the menu and guarantees your satisfaction. The relaxed ambiance, where there is no pressure to rush through your meal, is a personal favorite of mine. The menu features seasonal dishes that are constantly changing.

This restaurant has undergone several reboots in recent years, but it has finally found its stride. It now has the appearance of a proper Italian neighborhood restaurant. Since its reopening, we have visited three times and have found the food to be consistently tasty and, at its best, genuinely delicious. The ingredients are top-notch, seasonal, and fresh, the cooking is impeccable, and the service and prices are excellent and affordable. Standout dishes include polenta with mushrooms, salsiccia with lentils, pizza with dolce latte, wild boar ragu, and mixed antipasti. Alessandro, the owner, is happy to discuss the menu and even provided a detailed description of a special sausage and lentil dish I tried recently. The food is simple, comforting, and satisfying - it doesn't get much better than this.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in wandsworth. it is an authentic Italian restaurant with the most delicious food. I recommend the tortellini.

This was not our first visit to il girasole, but it was our first in a long time. we visited for my (Italian) mother in the 80th birthday of the law she obviously has high standards of Italian food, and we were not disappointed. really good quality and authentic eating that surprised us why we would leave it for so long! definitely recommend this little gemstone.
