Contribuiți la feedbackWe had made a reservation for nye for dinner, the restaurant asked us to pay £50 cash to secure the table. we turned to our booking and were placed on the door, as there was an incident in front. while we understood that the situation was not out of their control and they could not facilitate our booking, we asked to be refunded the booking payment that we were assured that it will happen. we said they couldn't move us into another place so we can still eat. when it was nye and late in the evening we looked out and fought to find everywhere to eat and ended up ruined with all our evening plans. we thought the personal managed the situation very bad as they told us that they did not place for us in others, but we have heard that they managed to shift the group of people right next to us. if we had only been aware before our arrival that our booking could no longer be facilitated, we would have met others. we understand that it must have been a very stressful night for her personal, an automated email could have been enough. Now I have asked that the deposit be refunded at a height of £50, and 3 days later they are still looking into my question. that is unacceptable. I would like not only a refund for the payment I have given for a booking that was not honored, but I would like to compensate for the bad and unprofessional situation.
I am really disappointed at the service my partner and I have received. our silvester was completely ruined. we had a reservation for 10:45 clock. When we arrived at the site, we were told that the restaurant was closed because of a leak and that I would have received an email that would have informed us about it and we would have been displaced. this was not the case, however, I received no e-mail or call to inform me about the restaurant closure or that we were in another restaurant. the colleague just told us to find another filiale 1 hour before the new year celebration. the chances that we get a table at the silvester at 11 o'clock were impossible without a booking. the colleague also informed us that we received a refund for our deposit, but this has not happened, instead I received an email that thanked us for eating in gauchos, although we were not able to access the building! we were extremely disappointed that our plans were ruined.

Went to Gaucho city on New Year’s Eve and there was a huge flood due to pipes. (Paid £50 deposit beforehand). Asked waiter what was going on and didn’t get a direct answer, just sat there waiting for about 20 minutes until they told us they weren’t serving any more food and the restaurant is closing. Their excuse was it’s an old building. Almost ruined our New Years, luckily found a restaurant down the road from there which was amazing. Emailed for a deposit refund.
