Elena's L'Etoile - London

I've been here for many years. A perfect business lunch, the place is always flowering, and although I have never been in the evening, all signed photos of different thesps that crowd the walls show that it has been a zeleb hangout for years. Elena himself stands in the place, God knows how old she is, but she is a legend. This restaurant apparently opened its doors over 100 years ago. Food is French, huge menu. Pretty expensive. I had some heavy meals here, but I had really nice calves liver once (sometimes I was hesitant to try after very sick at school meals.... A bit of meeja gaff, but great for people watching. Always a winner.

This restaurant is closed and buried so we could not eat there!!

Good value. The food was well prepared and fresh. good and personal service.

As always, an amazing evening overlooking Mañuel and his team. We never have a bad experience here.
