The menu is straightforward, but the food is exceptional. The staff was friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The dishes were delightful and tasted even better than expected. I missed out on the ham and cheese toastie, so I’ll definitely have to return. Everything was delicious, especially the milk and cookies. And don’t forget to try the chips—they're a must!

I had the best ham and cheese toastie, along with the most flavorful chips I've ever tasted in my life. I'm already planning my return to London! The pot dish was lovely, and while the fish was a bit firmer than I usually prefer, the broth was rich and packed with flavor. The kiew was deliciously crispy and wonderfully garlicky—just amazing! The overall atmosphere was perfect; it truly transported me away from London while I dined. The house white wine was also delightful! Plus, the hand wash in the restrooms smelled luxurious. Not to mention, the service was incredibly friendly. There was a notable delay between the starter and the main course, but considering everything is made from scratch, it's understandable. Long story short, I give it 5 stars!

I was a bit skeptical when I booked as it is available on Saturday afternoon at lunch in covent garden! and when I arrived, the place was quite beautiful! but if you try it out! wow, it was delicious! very well presented and delicious! personal was very friendly and helpful! definitiw recommended and I will be back soon.

Given the menu is so understated we came with no expectations of anything in particular. But we were completely blown away by the food. Every course was delicious and some dishes were absolutely awesome. The 'croutons ' served with the fish stew were the best thing we have ever eaten and the hazelnut milk cookies was a close second. Outstanding! The atmosphere and the staff were perfect. Really could not have been better and we can’t wait to go back.
