Chai Ki (Toddy Shop Bar) - London

The service at this restaurant is terrible. It seems like none of the staff knows what they are doing, but they try to make up for it as they go. I believe the issue lies with the management.

We went to the toddy shop located on the other side of the restaurant, which has a bar and serves small bites between lunch and dinner.

We went to the restaurant for dinner after work and had a wonderful meal. We started with prawn and chicken appetizers, and then had butter chicken and garlic naan for our main course.

Been here a good few times. This time it was really poor. Was sat 20 minutes before anyone asked us for drinks even then it was only as we grabbed someone walking past!! Then the curry came but without rice and breads! Staff were like oh why don’t you just eat. Then breads only came once we had finished the curry!! The girl with the snake tattoo is always amazing and she apologised as did the Italian team leader in a jumper. Other staff including the big chap who was a server is in the wrong job… I asked him for the bill, he gave me direct eye contact, heard me, then ignored me to talk to his colleague. Very poor.

Great Food but service is getting slow … We waited for the bill for 15mins, then waited another 10mins for another person to get the machine so we can pay by card… The service before used to be great and prompt.. but now they are slacking it. We really love eating here but the service lets us down this time.
