Contribuiți la feedbackThis may very well be the best Indian food I have ever eaten, and the setting and service were definitely the best I have encountered at an Indian
The appetizers (complimentary pappadum with mango chutney; a yogurt, chickpea, chutney, and fried spinach dish) were delicious, with terrific flavor.
This is a much fancier Indian restaurant than I have been to beforeThe space is really cool and it is a pretty large venue.
My most recent experience was the lunch Mogo chips cassava chips are meant to be softer Pani puri no chick peas fortunately (I don’t like chick peas in my puri, I like moong sprouts instead thus these are perfect). The water was sooo delicious! Tasted very authentic Masala fries delicious fries sprinkled with a bit of Chaat masala, sanchar (black salt), chill powder etc Sev puri not sure why this was so good but it just was Bhel puri great, but nothing compared to the sev puri Salty and mango lassi salty lassi tastes like chaas (buttermilk). Alternatively, mango lassi is ideal if you’re looking for something sweet A pasta plate not sure why they even served it or had it on the menu Dahi rice with tadka not my personal favourite Mains Aubergine matar best main ever Palak paneer another great dish. Very soft paneer Kadhi Dal makhani they removed dal makhani from the buffet menu, but we ordered it from Al carte. I used to love it, but felt it lacked a bit of salt Desserts Gulab jamun hard to go wrong with it. It’s slightly less sweet compared to some of the other ones I’ve had (still super sweet though) but I love that! Chocolate mousse with carrot tarte everyone loved the mousse! The carrot tart doesn’t necessarily pair well with the chocolate mousse but I liked it anyway (wouldn’t re-order the tart though) Malai kulfi beautiful presentation and delicious! Many times better than the mango kulfi which no one seemed to enjoy as much Birthday sponge cake mixed it with a bit of malai kulfi from earlier and loved it Ras malai if you like ras gulla you will love this Nice ambience. Good service. Love it!
We dined in on Friday and it was not busy (lots of tables were not occupied) and 20mins in we did not have anyone come and ask about water or drinks. We had to go and ask if anyone was going to come and ask us if we wanted any drinks. Instead of owning they made a mistake they made excuses such as “you were talking so we thought you were still deciding” not sure drinks needed to be discussed for that long! I found it strange that they couldn’t do a double G&T when asked! We ordered food and when we asked if the chicken main dish would be enough for two we were advised it was not it was enough for two. Based on advice we ordered another dish and we took a substantial amount of food home after spending a lot of money (which could have been prevented if appropriate advice was given. We spent £300+ for 4 people. All that said the quality of food was good (could ease off on the amount of oil used though), quantity great, taste was great and ambiance good.
