Antipodea Putney - London

I found the breakfast menu to be not very accommodating for someone with an egg allergy. The Front of House staff was quite rude, as when I asked if my party had already arrived, she simply said they were in the back without even making eye contact. I ordered the Cheese melt without ham or eggs, but it arrived with both ham and eggs. I had to give the eggs to my friends and pick off the ham myself. There was no offer of a discount or replacement. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals and experience, but I was a bit disappointed.

The food was excellent as always. We received a complimentary dessert after correctly guessing a key ingredient!

Antipodea in Putney is now my go-to spot for brunch. The service is outstanding, the ambiance is perfect, and the food is truly incredible. As a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, I can confidently say that it's the best brunch I've ever experienced. I find myself constantly wanting to come back for more! The Nordic Eggs dish looked exquisite and the Brew Melt (a favorite of my friend) was delightful. I couldn't help but feel a bit envious of my friends who chose the slightly smaller options like the Porridge and Banana Bread with yogurt and pistachios. Next time, I will definitely go for a two-course brunch! And let's not forget about the sides - the mushrooms and halloumi were exceptional. We also indulged in some Australian treats to take home, and I absolutely adored the Cherry Ripe. Overall, I highly recommend giving Antipodea a try - you won't be disappointed!

The ambiance and setting at this restaurant were beautiful. The food was delicious and I had a tough time deciding what to order because everything looked so good! I enjoyed being able to see the kitchen in action. The service was excellent and we felt well taken care of. This would be an ideal spot for a summer dining experience. Overall, this restaurant is a wonderful escape from the busy city life.
