Melville Vineyards Winery - Lompoc

Great location with helpful and accommodating staff. The wine selection is exceptional. If you find yourself on the central coast, this restaurant is a must-visit.

I found the wines enjoyable, but the tour itself fell short. Our guide seemed disinterested and struggled to answer our questions. The cost for the tour and tasting was $75 per person, nearly twice as expensive as other wineries. My suggestion would be to skip the tour and simply opt for the tasting instead.

We had a great experience at the restaurant thanks to our host and wine expert, Riggs. He was a pleasure to talk to and answered all of our questions about the fine wines produced at the winery. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The Grounds are BEAUTIFUL no denying that ! The wine was Good but there was a large party of loud guests that honestly I don’t know how this winery permitted such a large party while still trying to manage COVID their voices carried across the lawn ? There is a bit of pretense in the air at this winery in comparison to their neighbors snd I felt that the wine was a bit overpriced but none the less you are paying for the experience. Service was ok but some enthusiasm from the staff would liven up the place. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and that is why I’m giving it a solid 4 stars !!!!
