Island Hut - Lomita

Food is good. Staff is amazing. Thanked us for respecting their no dogs allowed inside policy. Then proceeded to offer and brought out a bowl of cold water for our dog as we were sitting outside during the Los Angeles heatwave.

I’ve found my new favorite spot! It’s conveniently located near an escape room, making it perfect for our post-escape celebrations. The shave ice is incredible, and their chili rice bowl is simply fantastic! I highly recommend stopping by!

This restaurant truly transported me back to the islands. The vibe, the atmosphere, the food menu, and the people all contributed to an incredible experience. I felt and savored the aloha spirit in every moment!
