Senor Jalapeno - Lombard

I've been to Señor Jalapeño several times. Finally write a review. I started to come because it has Halal meat, but then my team invited from my office and they loved it too! 3 of them have some Mexicans in their heritage. My regular “go-to” is the Birria Tacos with Zilantro, Onion and Cheese with one side of Mexican rice and beans. It is absolutely phenomenal! The meat is so juicy and tasty and the au jus that comes on the side just adds. I also had the chimichanga with steak. I finished three meals. Very recommended Señor Jalapeño!

It's a great place if you're a halal seeker. I tried Tacos of three kinds all were good.

The Birria tacos are just absolutely delicious with delicate meat, Zilantro, cheese and onions paired with their broth Gravy! Horchata is a little underwhelming, but the service is great. You get chips and make salsa at home while you wait. Definitely try this Halal Delikatesse, game changer

Excellent authentic Mexican! Open area cooking, so you can see that your food is suggested. Recommend the Tacos and Enchiladas! And Flan!

If you are looking for authentic halal Mexican food this place you should definitely try. We where hearing a lot hype about the barirra tacos which were my favorite. Chips and salsa also were good. I ordered guacamole as well. The horacha drink was delicious!! That was the perfect compliment after a spicy Mexican meal. I love supporting small business and people thier seem to be passionate on what they do. I still have to try the famous chimichangha. Will try it next time.
