Gasthaus Schonbrunnen - Lohr am Main

The well is a fantastic restaurant with a large selection of seasonal specialties, tonight it was stone mushroom, the spessart forest version of cep or porcini. so much choice, but I had the carving 'wiener kunst', which was fantastic. the restaurant. was full and the service really excellent. the choice of the beer is also good from the barrel and the wine selection also comes back. prices are very reasonable and a good value for money.

We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed an excellent lunch. the service was relaxed, friendly and attentive. eating was absolutely delicious and typical Bavarian. the maul bags shown on the photo were a daily special.

Only a short stop in this gas house on our road trip through Germany. visit Snow White burg we had beautiful drinks in the sun. Traditional German pub with friendly staff and good beer.

This restaurant is very good, an excellent lunch menu for lunch with friends in lohr, all usual classic Bavarian dishes. they go back to the already well.

Honestly, I am at a loss to explain the current standings of this restaurant We dined at Weinhaus Mehling a few days ago. Our experience at Gasthaus Schonbrunnen was at least as good, if not better. It's not just the food, which was...excellent. But that waitress! She was extremely busy, yet maintained perfect good humour and managed to have a friendly talk with us when we were about to leave. A real treasure, if you ask me. Getting back to the food, we had two soups for starters. The pumpkin soup was ok, the beef broth with pieces of liver and klößchen was very tasty. Then we had pork schnitzel and pork medaillons with pfifferlinge (a kind of mushroom), both very good. The Amaretto parfait was a bit cold, but the digestives, Wildsautropfen and Quetschgenwasser, made up for that. All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant.
