The Country Cafe - Logan Lake

My wife and I stopped in at this small cafe that seats about 25 people and found the food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Our server was friendly and welcoming. I had an excellent skillet and my wife had the eggs benny (that had one of the better hollandaise sauces that I've had). The only negative is the rather charmless interior which resembles a waiting room at a soon to be retiring dentist's office. But, we will most definitely be returning.

Waited an hour for our breakfast, about 8 people in the cafe. Once we checked in, we bff ours our order had slipped away some where and was forgotten about. Offered a free scone to solve the problem, not even a rush on our order.you would think the waitress would have checked in with her few customers and see how we were doing. Probably the worst service I ever had and won’t be going back...was just service during these times

Great lunches, friendly staff. Have a great or order take out menu as well so be sure to try that as well.

Quaint is the word saved for this little cafe. Most of the patrons know each other and sit and have a community chat as they dine. That did not make us feel uncomfortable though as this cafe welcomes everyone and that makes you a local. So very wonderful and friendly with good service and great food. Everything is fresh and oh so tasty. Great coffee never stopped and they really cared if you were happy. They even offer a couple of patio tables if you would rather dine outside and watch the residents walk by and greet each other with warm hugs. We had our little dog with us and were met by a waitress with a large bowl of cold water for him and a jug of ice water for us. Just amazing! We stop in every time we are near Logan Lake, usually for camping supplies. Casual and rural and just perfect in every way. Give it a try if you are in the area. It is in the mall on the corner across from the post office. This last visit almost made me not want to go back to the City. Quite simply just a great place!

I have had a few lunches here and always good. There was a little something in the omelette and the staff really addressed the issue effectively when we pointed it out. It was a fluke, was all remedied and everyone happy.
