St. Bess Jerk - Logan County

This place is great Jamaican food a little pricey for the oxtail but worth it.

No fault to the lady on the cash register, but we couldn't get the lamb chop dinner on the menu, because the cook was out being Ferris Bueller. The lady was the only one working tonight. She showed great hospitality and our food was ready pretty quick…The food was great, except for the rice, which had some hard ones here and there.

I had the small tray and it came with a bottle of jerk sauce!

Not worth the $20+ per person. The meats were just okay, no complaints about the curry goat. The chicken would have tasted better with the jerk sauce that was smothered in the rice at the BOTTOM of the plate. Could not taste the flavor of the rice, string beans looked canned with no other flavor except salt, macaroni looked like it came from a box and was not baked, cabbage was okay.

I work for a delivery company and I had a delivery for this place, and once I was done delivering they were nice enough to offer me free tacos and a drink, so of course I had to come back and leave the positive review because the tacos were very good they were also very respectful!
