Happy Dog West Chicago - Logan County

I have always wanted to stop and grab a Chicago Style hot dog here but the timing has never been right until today. The dog was properly prepared and wrapped up with fries as it should be. You can't get this kind of cuisine just anywhere. The best part of the experience is the conversation with the proprietor while your order is being prepared. The human connection. The relationship. It's just how things ought to be!

There is no hotdog place around that comes close to this… exactly how a good ol’ fashioned hotdog stand should be… the food is great and they are the nicest people to deal with… I’ll continue coming back year after year.

I've been here several times since I moved out to this neck of the woods. Everyone working here is super friendly and the food is amazing. The cheese curds are delicious and they have Italian beef egg rolls on the menu too! I think I've been about once every 2—3 weeks for the past 5 months....the beefs!

The friendliest business and the hot dogs were sooo good with the pickles and the sport peppers.... Yasss.
