Elk Grove — Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

The ingredients on the Chicago-style deep dish were fresh and well-placed on the pizza. The service was okay. It's worth the try if you've never had the pizza. Most of the food is heavy, fried, or baked.

Lou's is a great family restaurant. The pizza is great and the rest of the menu is very good!!

WOW. Completely shocked. We love Lous so we were very disappointed when our pizza was delivered and it was uncooked in the center and falling in pieces everywhere else. We gave them a call and they replaced our pizza (an hour later) Totally disappointed again! This one must have been turned on its side because the cheese was completely off one whole side of the pizza. Never had such a bad experience here before. Don't know if we will order again.

This place has been updated. Still a dark, rustic decor but love the BIG booths! It's been a long time since I visited this location. I usually frequent Addison for take out Oakbrook to dine in. I noticed the pizzas at this location were smaller the deep dish was more like shallow depth. Just had two deep dish delivered. Delivery guy was cool. Pizzas were piping hot. Never seen sausage topped like this. Apparently the sausage is a sheet that lays over the pizza. No complaints, it was delicious, I just found it unique. Plenty of mozzarella and marinara sauce. I was surprised how good the crust was.
