Contribuiți la feedbackBeen coming here for a couple of years and the food has always been very overpriced but pretty tasty which is why I continue to visit. However I recently became vegetarian and decided to order their 'Chinese stir fry vegetables with garlic sauce' it was tasty but it was literally just bok Choy... there was no other vegetable.... the entire dish was just bok Choy... I paid $15.50 for a medium plate of bok Choy which would have costed them $1.00/$2.00 to purchase themselves. Total ripoff. Probably won't be visiting again. If you're a meat eater then it's still worth a visit
Two common dishes, honey chicken and salt and pepper squid- This was the worst Chinese honey chicken I have ever tasted- well that is batter with honey. We could barely find any chicken at all. Then they brought out the squid- it was way overcooked to the point it was crunchy and couldn't be eaten. Spoke to the owner politely and told him what was wrong with it. He went to the kitchen with it, came back empty handed telling me the cook said there was nothing wrong with it. Needless to say will never recommend or return.
Lamb Curry Pot very bland mixed entree overcooked ordered King salted prawns and received prawns in thick fatty batter. Long wait for meals staff could not communicate well on checkout charged for 2 entrees only ordered one account had to be adjusted. Very bad experience. Have not been there for a few years and everything has gone backwards
Dined in this restaurant with friends. Dining area was set-up in a very homey atmosphere and so as the service which was unattentive. I even saw the boss blaming on the diners of thenext table (she was not set on the table that the boss allocated). Food was not bad in terms of tastiness (at least they provide some specific a la cart dishes of Szechuan). Overall, food presented was rustic and impression on service was not good.
Best Sichuan Restaurant in Queensland. I've been going to Sunny Court regularly for 13 years. I lived in Sichuan for a few years and I have to say that this is the most authentic Sichuan Restaurant in town - there are a couple of others, but I would rate them more as inspired by Sichuan cooking, rather than authentic Sichuan. They do put some non-sichuan dishes on the menu (which other reviewers mentioned), but the good dishes to try in my opinion are: 1) Chongqing Lazi Ji - Chong Qing style chilli chicken 2) Yuxiang Qiezi - Spicy Eggpant 3) Congyou Bing - flatbread with spring onion 4) Ganbian Sijidou - fried beans with garlic 5) Mapodofu - A tofu dish that originated in Chengdu - salty and spicy. They do it the original way here. 6) Shuizhu Niurou - Sizzling Beef SIchuan Style There are plenty more too.
