Contribuiți la feedbackGrilling Art is a new local eatery for the Underwood area. The trendy and well decorated establishment houses a large indoor dining and alfresco area. They are open for brekkie, lunch and dinner with an extensive menu selection. We were there for week day lunch and decided to go for: GA smash avocado, the art of ribs burger, lychee mojito mocktail and vanilla latte. The GA smash avocado contains feta and avocado mix on sourdough, poached egg, grilled haloumi and rockets all drizzled with balsamic vinegar & mixed dukkah. The poached egg was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. Feta and avocado mix was freshly made and presents a fragrant scent and smooth creamy mouth feel. Paired with the well balanced balsamic vinegar and interesting dukkah taste, you have a great brekkie dish to start the day. 4/5 The art of ribs burger was up next with BBQ pulled pork, greens, onion, cheddar and aioli all held in a Focacia bun. First impression: very appetising. The chedder was perfectly melted on the pulled pork and brings a funky taste to the well seasoned meat. Paired with greens and in house aioli, I was taken to comfort food territory. A minor let down was the chewy Focacia bun. As an overall package its a strong 4/5. The two drink paired well with the food selected. Mrs Tomcat enjoyed the smooth and fragrant vanilla latte with a well made latte art. The mojito packed plenty of crushed mint leaf and lime and brings a much needed refreshment to the palate post burger. 4/5 Overall service was friendly and welcoming. The manager Ivan was keen to recommend dishes and drinks based on preferred tastes. The restaurant was also one of the cleanest we've been to around this area. We will be back to try their other menu offerings for sure. Hint: Their brekki menu presents great value for money. Dinner time ribs is a must try!

Had been to this place for brekkie last year and was not impressed about the croissant that I ordered, neither was the coffee. However, gave it another go for dinner in order to get rid of the offer from Entertainment Book which was nearly expired. We went there at 6:00pm and there was another table only so business was not that optimistic (suppose that it is the quiet time for restaurant business near the EOFY). Ordered skewers of Salmon Belly and the Bacon with asparagus. The fish was quite good but the attached tomatoes did not match the skewer. I think if they put onions instead would be better (3.5/5). Bacon & Asparagus was let down by the vegetables since the asparagus was too dry (3/5). Mains of Grilled Chicken and Signature Beef Ribs gained marks back. Chicken thigh was done perfectly with juicy texture and the chips were tasteful and crunchy, however, the grilled sweet corn pieces were absolutely too dried and they were inedible (3.5/5). Well, the Beef Ribs should be the hero of the night, they reminded me the feeling of pulled-pork and the sweet corns were nicely grilled too. if the chef can put more sauces with the ribs then it was perfect (4/5). Overall experience was average but a lot better than my bad experience in the breakfast time.

Our favorite go to place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just coffee. Never disappointed. Best breakfast picks eggs benny or avocado smash. Lunch try a tropical art or abstract burger in beef, chicken or veggie. Dinner the grill offers up fantastic ribs, chicken and salmon. Great cocktails, coffee and desserts too. Toilets are a short walk around the back and accessed with a key.
