The modern and cool lights, along with the sweet drawings on the wall, created a welcoming atmosphere. I even heard that the two little couples in the tower mural were the owners, as this tower was suggested by the owner's wife. The food was absolutely amazing. I promise you, it is worth trying. The owners mentioned that the impact of the coronavirus pandemic had put their business at risk, and I felt sorry for them as they were trying to support their children's education. Definitely worth a visit!
Although the appearance of this small Korean restaurant may not be impressive, the menu is quite remarkable. We have visited multiple times and sampled a few dishes, but we keep coming back for the Korean Peace Chicken. You can choose between a whole or half chicken, with a selection of sauces and sides. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.
This was my first visit to the restaurant, where I was brought by my sibling. The service provided by the waiting staff and owner managers was excellent and friendly. They were generous in offering complimentary items such as spiced syrup sweet potatoes, sweet macaroni, and Kimchi. They also made sure to provide plenty of water. On this visit, I tried Topoki for the second time, which is my niece's favorite dish. While I am not a very spicy eater, I particularly enjoyed the crispy roasted chicken which was served very hot and caramelized. I also liked the beef noodles, although the noodles were a bit chewy, they were still tasty. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for another visit.
A Korean restaurant in Sunnybank/Sunnybank Hills. It must be good to survive. There is so much to choose, it is almost criminal if it is not good. A largish group. There were 7 of us. The place is small, it's loud,... You go away with the smell of Korean food in your clothes. But who cares when the food is good? And it was rewarding. We ordered several dishes. One of the hot pots (you can choose, small or large) we went for big, Sizzling pan pig and roasted chicken. The Appetisers were happy when you ask. I wasn't in a Korean restaurant that would be the soup upstairs. In one phase, the hot pot became a bit too intense, my mother asked for a tip of soup and to our surprise, they brought a bowl of clear soup and even said if you only ask more. The portions were large enough to feed us all and the prices were also reasonable. It was a Saturday, we made a reservation. 12.30. It wasn't as busy as I read, but until we left, it was full! It is worth the ride from the north of Brisbane. Good food will travel.
They offer 3 differnent flavoured fried chicken. I like the crunchy skin best. Even in the hot summer the hot pots are still very popular. I love the beef and chicken bolgogi rice dish. A bit on the sweet side but that's Korean cuisine. Reasonably...priced, it is popular with Korean and multicultural customers.
