Pancho's Mexican Grill La Casa De La Birria #2

The food was outstanding! Everyone at our table was pleased with their meals. However, please note that due to staff shortages, the food may take a bit longer to prepare.

If you read the reviews of Pancho’s from before May-Jun 2023, you should know it changed owners and the reviews are for the previous restaurant in the same place. The new owner kept the name and menu, but the food is different and so much less than the prior owner. They have also lost their liquor license. But the worst part is the place isn’t clean. The restrooms are filthy and cost me my appetite. There were only 2 tables, including ours, having lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I was embarrassed at recommending the restaurant to my friends. We won’t be back, nor will we visit the owner’s other restaurant, Tacos el Robert.

Went to lunch there. Only 5 tables had people. Waited 15 minutes before anyone asked if we needed a table. Waitress led us to the table and tossed down the menus without saying anything. Walked off.. came back 10 minutes later for our drink order. We told her we were ready to order. She only would talk our drink order. We both ask for Water. After waiting another 10 minutes for our drink order .. we got up and walked out. Way to slow for a weekday lunch spot.

I ordered cheese enchiladas, and the cheese wasn't fully melted, which was disappointing. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.
