Contribuiți la feedbackI visited the restaurant last week and found the prices to be $1.50 for a sugar donut and $2.00 for a chocolate croissant. It seems the prices have gone up, or perhaps I was overcharged—I paid $4.00 and received around 30 cents in change. I just read a review mentioning a charge for the box, so maybe I was charged a fee for the paper bag instead? The bread was tasty, but I did notice that the chocolate croissants were smaller than they used to be.
Every time I stop by to buy my pan dulce, I receive great service, and the staff is always friendly.
Additionally, the way the staff treats me when I walk in—presumably because I don’t look like I speak Spanish—has been disappointing. I encountered an older lady who randomly added service charges that were not applied during my previous visits. While I understand that businesses need to manage costs, it felt unfair that she charged me extra while not doing the same for other customers. It seemed as though she assumed I wouldn’t understand. As for the leche cake, it was not good at all; it was basically just a thick layer of cool whip. I genuinely believe this place has potential and could do much better if the staff were more passionate, not just about making a profit, but also about baking quality products.
Amazing restaurant with exceptional service. Definitely worth a visit!
This is the best jalapeño bread I've had so far, and I've tried a lot of bakeries.
