El Norte Mexican Restaurant, Sports Bar Lounge

This has one of my favorite places for more years than I can remember!! Unfortunately after my experience last night, I will no longer be spending my money there. First it was not crowded, only 3 tables when we arrived. It took over a half hour to get our food served. I ordered seafood enchiladas (crab/shrimp) when my plate came out the smell of fish on it was awful. It was suppose to have a green sauce with cheese and it was smothered in squid. I have ordered this plate many times!!! They took it away and told me that is always how it has been served. BS!!!! Needless to say, while the 3 others at my table ate I wached. Oh and my nephew ordered a soda never got it. Then it was time for the bill it took them over 15 minutes to give us the bill and we had to ask more than once. When I spoke to the manager she was rude and blew me off and walked away while I was talking (real nice) now they can go suck wind!!!

Best mexican food ever and prices are reasonable. Seriously, their food is so yummy, never ate or drank anything that wasn't delicious in this place. I recommend it 100%. Everything from their cactus looking glasses to the tablecloth, you can see they actually put some effort into it. Spacious parking space and big portions of food, I couldn't even finish my plate! It is just amazing, one of my favorite places without a doubt.

As authentic as authentic Mexican food gets. The only suggestion for this place is maybe play more Mexican music. The menu has a huge amount of dishes. The Gringo steak is a good choice for those who don’t know what to get. Just watch out for that habanero sauce.

My coworkers and I have been coming to this place for a few years now. We just celebrated cinco de mayo and although the waiter was a little slow, the food and drinks were on point. Their margaritas are super strong and delicious. Chimichangas were perfect, the shrimp with salsa verde was great as well as their ceviche. Great after work place with plenty of parking, great drinks and food.

Great food, drinks and portions. The service was courteous. I had steak and chicken fajitas and my wife had Texas burrito with cheese on top. The steak and shredded beef in burrito was marinated really well and very tasty... We found another good Mexican restaurant!
