Tortacos - Lockport

Sad that Chipotle is better . Thought I’d give this Mom and Pop place a try never again . also chill on the salt You the owner would you eat that meat sitting in a container that comes in a bag!?

This place is a cute hidden treasure. I'm not a fan of small spaces but 90% of the time their food taste great. I forgot to take a picture because I was starving. Anyways, you order at the counter and they accept CC. It's not spacious inside, I believe they only have 2 tables, maybe more. They were friendly and fast when it came to the food. I'm going to start with just the small negative. I ordered Tacos the Barbacoa (flour tortillas). Now I know different places make barbacoa different. I was hoping to get the one everyone loves, idk if y'all know what I mean. Anyways I wasn't a fan of the barbacoa, but that didn't matter because the tortillas were FANTASTIC! Nicely cooked and had those tiny crunch bites from the tortilla . The rice was decent, but the corn in a cup tasted YUMMY. They put the right amount of butter cheese and chili powder. I will be coming back for the tortas.

I've been coming here for the past few years. Food used to be great, portions generous. Today, unfortunately, will be the last time I set foot in this place. The price of food is high, no doubt, but to charge high and skimp on the quality of food is ridiculous. I ordered some steak tacos and the meat used was completely disgusting. I would trust Taco Bell meat over this. Not sure if this is a temporary change, but I'm not wasting another dime to find out. Good thing there's another place to try just down the street. Look elsewhere!

Absolutely amazing chicken and beef tacos, easily the best around, super tasty and juicy and amazing cilantro!

Great little hole in the wall Mexican joint. The owners and staff are marvelous, the portions are ginormous, and most importantly, it's outright delicious.
