Embers Tap House - Lockport

I've visited this restaurant twice, and both times I encountered the same issues: the service was extremely slow for some reason. During my second visit, our server mentioned that she was new, which is understandable, but then she also stated she had been serving for years at other locations. My friend ordered a drink without ice, and it took three attempts to get it right. When she brought it the second time, she simply apologized and walked away without resolving the issue. We ordered an appetizer but received something different. On a positive note, my burger was good. The atmosphere is nice as well. However, I personally won’t be returning; perhaps others will have a better experience than I did.

We dined there on 10/7/22, the food was great! I had the corn hash sandwich, my kids loved their wings, and my wife had the Buffalo chicken Mac Cheese. The fried pickles were ok. The mix drinks were good, wife had the Manhattan. I had a craft beer.Our waitress Kaitly (I hoped I didn?t mess up her name) was outstanding, she gave us great food recommendations. I willdefinitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic tacos! They were just two or three dollars each, but they were delicious. I also really enjoyed their Moscow Mule! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely!

On my most recent visit, our waitress was particularly awful. She saw us approaching and said she'd be right with us, but it took her a while to actually come over. Once we were seated, it took forever for her to take our orders or even check on us. She was on her phone the whole time, which was incredibly frustrating. I'm very disappointed and won't be returning. Owners, you might want to have a conversation with your staff or consider hiring new ones.

Absolutely the best place to enjoy a meal and a good beer in the castle! I've known this for some time, and my recent visit only confirmed it. My wife, Reba, and I had a fantastic experience last night. Our waitress, Michelle, recommended some excellent drinks for dinner, which made the evening even better. We can't wait to return soon with the whole family!
