Sutton Shelby's Market Street Deli

What a hidden treasure! We were driving to Seguin and wanted a quick lunch. Everything here was fresh and delicious. We ordered a panini sandwich, chicken sandwich, salad, and burger. Service was excellent too! I highly recommend going out of your way to eat at Market Street. Be sure to note the TripAdvisor map shows they are on the square but they are now on State Park Rd.

This place is a real gem located off the beaten path in Lockhart. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Portions are large and full of flavor. Ingredients are fresh and well prepared. We will definitely be returning. I heard good things about the crawfish Mac n cheese that I absolutely have to try next time. I highly recommend you stop in and try this place. You will likely make it one of your favorite spots to eat. I have attached a pic of their shrimp and grits on a bed of spinach and the shrimp and shrooms cooked in a white wine cream sauce. Both dishes were superb!

I wish there were more that 5 stars to give this cafe! We had my son's rehearsal dinner here. Every part of the process was exceptional from communication to the menu. Everyone raved about the food. It was nice to have the whole restaurant to ourselves. Chef Sutton always got back to me usually within an hour of my text. We had everything from the surf and turf to the porky's plight. All phenomenal! The baked brie appetizer is a must have as well. I highly recommend you try this place for breakfast or lunch. You will not be disappointed!

First impression walking in…had a reservation but was not greeted by staff. Walked up to counter and was pointed in the right direction.? Overall, the food was good and the wine list was adequate for the restaurant. The biscuits on starter menu were excellent with butter and jam. Our biggest issue was the wait staff. Will try again.
