We dined here on Fiday night , , upon arrival we saw that there was a large table reserved and one or two others, so not to worry !!!!!!! Service personal , a young waitress took present us with menu`s and then water , orders were placed and we enjoyed the setting , wine olives and aioli ....... We were a table of six , various dishes ordered , and we waited patiently , first courses were fine but lacked the wow effect . Mains were served , fillet steak ordered medium arrived rare , french fries sloppy and soggy wrong potato used , accompanied by a mixed leaf salad was fine , grilled fillet steak was senrt back only to return 5 minutes later INCINRATED DEAD !!!! , other guests odered a traditional rice dish with sepia , it was so salty and intense in flavour this too had oto be sent back . Now from where I was sitting I could see the open kitchen , the cook was all alone and 1 waitress on duty for 830 8 :45 pm on a Friday night dinner. Other guests started to arrive including the large table , around 30 person in total , then other staff members stared to arrive including the manager , another cook and a waiter . A second steak with soggy french fries was presented, together a second bowl of traditional rice , this however had NO seasoning at all !!!! Traditional salads Trampo was just ok ...... after this dismal dinner we decided to just have coffee and pay the bill . 190 .00 euros for 6 persons, poor food , prepared with NO LOVE and care , sadly I cannot recomend this to visitors to Mallorca. Standards have dropped off seriously.....
Ca Na Marola is a handsome looking restaurant. We visited for dinner on Thursday evening and were easily accommodated on the outdoor terrace. The establishment is principally a fish and seafood restaurant a tray of freshly caught fish was shown to a neighbouring table. However, we settled on meat based dishes from the menu lamb chops and sirloin steak. Served with chips, whilst these were good (and cooked well), the dishes lacked an edge that might have merited a higher rating. Although hampered by the language barrier, a few more smiles during service might also have nudged a higher rating. At €70 for a starter, two mains, a bottle of wine and water, ultimately, this felt rather expensive.
A quiet night in October but busy enough to experience wonderful food and attentive service from a staff member who had to deal with all the diners. Which he did with great efficiency. He spoke little English but had such confidence that we were able to communicate really well. He wanted to be understood. Food was prepared with care and served delightfully. A real gem of a find.
Muy buen ambiente, todo en blanco, muy acogedor. Servicio perfecto y muy amable! Excelente comida, espera corta. ¡Recomiendo ir a Marola na!
