Sushiwa Express Japanese Restaurant

I ordered a california roll and tempra shrimp roll all i got was teo california rolls although paid 22>75 for 16 dollars worth of sushi tried to call back to restaurant no one speask english NEVBR GOING BACK THERE AGAIN ! enjoy my money youll need it to stay in business with such BAD services

We decided to try it. They didn 't have any Tuna available, had to be thawed....just before the supper rush . Place was not busy at all. Weird atmosphere as other persons had mentioned. I will not be returning. Apologies.

The atmosphere is a bit strange but the food was ok. We ended up ordering a premium bento box... we opted to get the salmon sashimi and chicken teriyaki. The sashimi was a bit to flaked, but tasting and smelling ok. The rest was average.

We visited on a Saturday night and the place was empty except for us. No one greeted us and the atmosphere was strange. The coolers and freezers are outside of the kitchen area and in the dining area. The hallway was lined with cases of pop. The waitress was cold and we felt like we were inconviencing her by being in the restaurant. The menu was very basic compared to most sushi places. We waited a long time for our order, surprising since the restaurant has been express in the name. When our order finally came the waitress didn’t bring us soy sauce dishes or plates, so we had to ask for them. We ordered simple rolls and they were very subpar. The California rolls had a sauce on it that almost tasted like mayonnaise. Not my cup of tea. This may be fine for people who don’t know what sushi is supposed to taste like. Would not visit here again.

We live approximately 1.5 hours from lloydminster and Sushi Wa is the closest sushi restaurant. We often go for lunch when in Lloyd. The food is fresh. Good size portions for the cost. The overall atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The service is excellent and prompt.
