Driving from Austin back to San Diego and we hadn't had BBQ yet. Girlfriend found this spot on maps and we thought we'd give it a go. Brisket: incredibly moist. We normally hit up Franklins, but this place was definitely as tender. Great flavor as well. Not overly salty. Bark was well set. Ribs: I thought the ribs were great. Very tender. The seasoning wasn't overpowering, very complimentary to the pork. Tasted great with the BBQ sauce. Sausage: probably my least favorite. Nothing wowed me. Good flavor, just nothing to write home about. Coleslaw: girlfriend was indifferent with the coleslaw Potato salad: good! Service: we came in just after 1130. Two people ahead of us in line. Took about 20 minutes for us to order. By the time we finished, there were 10 people in line and we laughed that it would be like an hour and half wait for the person in the back. Incredibly kind people, but a little slow. Parking: Just an open little dirt lot. Doesn't get any better than this place! best brisket I have ever had! Owners are super nice folks, pride in ownership really shows in this restaurant.

The couple running this place are absolutely incredible. They greet me with kindness each time, and the food is absolutely incredible. Love it here, I try and come every weekend
