Excited to go back ??? That was my first experience trying Jamaican food, I’m Haitian?? and I can say that I’m not disappointed!

I love this place so much. The staff is amazing and the food always hits.

The chick at the counter is disgusting but the food and the young man in the back were great! But unfortunately due to how the nasty lady is who you are first greeted by and that interaction is horrible I wouldn’t return!

Food is fantastic!!, However the woman at the counter is quite rude and a bit racist.. my first trip there she sat on her phone the entire time while I was giving my order and she would roll her eyes and talk to me like I’m stupid … I figured oh well maybe she’s having a bad day .. next time I come in I see her smiling and being pleasant to the people before me in line and once again treats me like I’m just complete garbage… The only conclusion I could see is perhaps she doesn’t like or respect white people .. even though I tried to be as respectful and nice as I could “yes ma’am” “no ma’am” “how are you today!” “Have a great day!” .. even though the food is great and close to where I live I will continue to go to island pot where I am treated with respect by hard working people with smiles on their facesI would like to add that is not a review on the food itself not the staff in the kitchen.. just of the woman they have at the counter.
