Applebee's Grill Bar Restaurant

Went in to eat and was told there would be a 30 minute wait. Yet they had about 30 empty tables. Greeter seemed incompetent and laughed as w walked out the door because we said we would leave a review. Place seemed rundown and poor management.

I recently visited the Applebee's in Livonia, Michigan, and was disappointed with the overall experience. The restaurant had dirty plates that were left on tables far too long, creating an unclean atmosphere. The greeter/host seemed uninterested in doing more than just greeting customers, even though there were plenty of opportunities to assist the team. My date and I waited over 10 minutes before our waitress finally came to our table to greet us and take our order. To make matters worse, another waitress loudly complained about not getting help from her coworkers, using inappropriate language in front of customers. A nearby table of five even walked out after waiting 20 minutes without being greeted by their server. They had to call out to staff just to ask where their waiter was. Despite all the issues, the food was decent, but I wouldn't return based on the poor service and unprofessional atmosphere.

Noisy kids, hostess was rude, told him we wanted a window seat, six empty tables on a slow Saturday, said it's policy, fiance said she had a headache, sat us next to baby , and set small children right next to us, meanwhile empty section of the restaurant, better seats by the window remained empty... And whoLe bar section was empty.. bar area no kids, hopefully the food is good if the food is good I may give 2 stars, waitress has been good

Arrived at 7:30. Wasn 't very crowded . The hostess asked if I would sit at the bar. Went to the bar. The bar was completely covered in dirty plates . The two bartenders behind the bar, I stead of cleaning were complaining no o e would come clean the bar . I should have took a picture , the bar was just nasty . I was ignored , no greeting no nothing . I decided to sit until someone said something to me. After sitting for ten mi uses watching the two bartenders complain one comes over slides the dorty dishes down a stool and tells me to move to the next stool with a really bad why are you sitting here attitude . She never wiped down the bar , just grabbed some menus and slammed them down in front of me . I got up and left st that point. It was completely disgusting . I travel cross country weekly and mostly eat at Applebee 's. This place was absolutely the most disgusting Applebee 's I 've stepped foot in. I left and went to longhorns nearby. Clean and served promptly . Never ever go to Applebee 's in Livonia Michigan .

Food was good, staff members not trained at all and no manager on duty. When I asked the server for a vodka soda with a lemon she asked what kind of soda? I explained I want club soda and she said that they don’t carry that, then asked if I want a different soda with my vodka??? Then when it was all done she rang the receipt up with the drinks and separate line items like lemonade or Diet Coke as extra that was already charged for the drink. Very sad this location is falling apart
