Wetherspoons - Livingston

The staff seemed unsure of who was in charge, as they gathered near the kitchen to discuss their personal issues rather than focusing on their work. My order was prepared quickly, but it sat on the counter for about 15 minutes before a waitress finally brought it to us. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing.

Today was a disappointment. The table was so sticky that the menus were sticking to it, indicating it needed a good clean. The coffee machines didn't make the coffee hot, which has been a recurring issue. I asked for a poached egg instead of a fried one, but after paying, I was told that poached eggs weren't available, even though I had one last Saturday. I also requested ketchup, but there was none available, nor were there any sweeteners. Usually, I really enjoy breakfast here, but I’ve noticed that the standards seem to have slipped lately. On the bright side, the staff are still friendly.

This pub is quite comfortable, though it unfortunately doesn't have the authentic pub atmosphere. However, it has a friendly vibe and is a decent spot to relax, eat, and enjoy a drink.
