La Capanna - Livingston

The restaurant is truly legendary, consistently delivering exceptional quality. They ensure that drinks are served promptly after placing an order, and they maintain high standards throughout. You can always count on them not to offer anything subpar.

The ham and chips were served right at the front of the restaurant, and my wife's fish portion was enormous, like that of a whale! They also offered a variety of gluten-free options for my sisters-in-law, and they said they couldn't even tell the difference in taste. The pizza was good too!

The takeout menu at La Capanna is fantastic, with all dishes cooked fresh to order. They also offer gluten-free options, which is a huge plus for me. I'm gluten-free, and I love having choices here. Yippee!

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, I genuinely preferred the setup at their previous location. They no longer offer a gluten-free menu, so if you're looking for gluten-free options, you have to ask them directly. They are knowledgeable about what is and isn’t at risk of cross-contamination, but it’s still disappointing that there’s no gluten-free menu available. The food is excellent, though! I usually enjoy the pasta and a platter of assorted ham.
