Babushka's Deli - Livingston

Babushka’s is a favorite. I don’t know all the Russian names, but we love their croquettes, savory filled pastries (lamb, pork, egg), stuffed chicken breasts, and charcuterie. Big freezer section full of frozen pierogis and the like.

I was craving about some Honeycake and some other Russian cakes, I got 3 different cake slices and paid $36 ?, if it was good I wouldn’t give a bad review here. 3 different slices of cake was too dry and hard. If it is this expensive I would expect a fresh cake, at least soft.I was disappointed, don’t recommend!

Russian/Ukrainian food market. Kvass, black bread, special kasha/grains, special meat products. Very convenient, good prices.

Terrific, tasty and well priced baked goods-not overly sweet, which I like. Great with a mid afternoon cup of coffee. Ample parking.
