Early 60s crawled back to our pub. The place was always packed, great atmosphere back then.

Lovely grub, great beer, staff are very helpful and all very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

For a pub lunch with two friends. I was not disappointed as the food was excellent was not expensive and the service was very good. I've eaten there a few times and I'll go back. I would recommend this pub.

If you want a Cheers experience where ...you want to go where everyone knows your name ...then Vernon Arms is the place to go. Meeting the friendly and gracious owners Jimmy and his wife Barbara and their delightful team of workers and neighbors was great. The hard cider drinks and chilli con carne were awesome. I went twice to visit and had a great time each time. Definitely looking forward to coming back during my next visit to Liverpool from the States.
