Kings Chef - Liverpool

I placed a $30 order, and the egg rolls were so greasy that there was a pool of oil in the bag. I tried to eat them, but they were just too much to handle, so I ended up throwing them away. However, the owners reached out to apologize and offered to make things right, which I really appreciate. The prompt customer service has improved my overall impression. Updated rating.

This is our go to Chinese cuisine restaurant. Quick service and great food. We live within their delivery area, and delivery is quick and accurate too.

Just ordered 50$ worth of food! Everything was on point, hot and delicious! I could tell they were working really hard. Seemed like a great family. Will def. Recommend and go again. Prices were the most reasonable around. ?

The food was EXCELLENT. I ordered the Happy Family and was not let down. It's very easy to over cook this dish but the meats were perfect. The speed of the order also impressed me. I ordered at the register, had a cigarette sat down at a table to wait. I wasn't even sitting long enough to pull out my phone before the food was walked over to me. They didn't call me to the counter, it was brought to me. I would definitely recommend Kings Chef.

The restaurant seemed eager to please, which was appreciated, but there were some significant issues. I could immediately smell cigarette smoke as soon as we opened the bag from the supplier. Additionally, I found two hairs in my food, which was quite off-putting. The fried rice had some small burnt pieces that I initially thought were black pepper, but they had a noticeable burnt taste right when I took a bite. Overall, both dishes were disappointing.
