The Lime Kiln - Liverpool

Didn't eat but very busy and still got the drinks out quickly with table service. Place was a bit of a mess however.

Liverpool has the most Wetherspoons in the city than any other in the UK. The Lime Kiln is one of the lowest priced Wetherspoons in Liverpool, excellent considering its location. Food and drinks are what you would expect from a Spoons.

One of the most popular Wetherspoon pubs in Liverpool is The Lime Kiln Pub, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A really big Wetherspoon pub set over two floors, great serving bar's on both floors, typical Wetherspoon decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Concert Square. We were here on a beautiful afternoon, very warm day indeed, we luckily managed to get a alcove table, we then decided to have a bit of a beer session here ,we started off with some real ale's each from Sharps Brewery and Greene King Brewery, these were served in pristine condition, after our real ale's we then tried bottles of Birra Moretti, again this fine Italian beer was served in great condition being iced cold and sparkling, we had two bottles each of this great beer ,we then decided to have a meal ,as it was Thursday this was a no brainer, we went for a curry meal each which was absolutely delicious and just what we needed to set us up for a good few hours, after our meal we then tried some cocktails, again these were amazing, so tasty, we rounded off our visit here with a pint of guinness each which was the perfect end to our 4 hour visit here ,had a great time, can't wait to go again next time we're in Liverpool City Centre hopefully very soon. The Lime Kiln Pub is easy to locate along Fleet Street and looking out onto Concert Square, a square and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 9am. Well worth checking out if you're in the Ropewalks District of Liverpool.

Good food, beer included in the meal, £21 for two people, the cheapest we have found

Rejecting entry for people despite having valid id in form of residence permit. No reason to reject this form of ID other than racism.
