Contribuiți la feedbackI visited this restaurant for a breakfast 26/02/20 there was only bacon available at the service counter .We waited 15 minutes for the food to be cooked and presented , but it never arrived . I asked a member of staff how much longer we would have to wait . The staff member was rude and dismissive .I asked for a refund of the money I had paid , I was reluctantanty refunded the money . I would never visit this place ever again
Been here a few times now and just a typical carvery food is reasonable in ok surroundings but staff could be friendlier
When you go to a carvery often, you kind of already know it's hit and miss when it comes the quality you're going to get. After already being here for breakfast a week earlier (which was most likely the worst we've ever had), we were asked to give their carvery a try. Reluctantly... We agreed. The tables were dirty and sticky, with the general cleanliness being far below what you would expect. The meat was not very well cooked and the potatoes and veg seemed to be similar to cheap prepacked and frozen. Not good at all.It seems a shame that the staff didn't really care too much whether you enjoyed your meal or not. So...you've gotten your food, sat back down and start to eat. The best thing you can hope for in this place is that the food is hot. But as we found out, even that was not possible.Been here twice now so I feel that we did at least give it a second chance... There won't be a third.
Nice Carvery reasonably priced .Good portion of three meats available.Drinks are quite cheap.Very busy at weekends
Having taken in some of the sights along Liverpools waterfront near Otterspool, which I might add is fantastic on a sunny day with the family. We had worked up quite a hunger and had a plethora of choices of where to eat! But when nothing else will do but a good roast dinner our minds where set, plus with the benefit of a discount using the mobile app for Toby Carvery under offers it was going to taste just that bit better. This place is great, it's got good ample parking and accessability for all needs with wide open doors and predominantly all on one level once inside, plenty of space inside. We had been offered a seat quickly and attentively to a booth thatoverlooked the Carvery area, talk about putting temptation in your way. But that's exactly what we'd come for!Seemingly we had arrived at a good time as it was beginning to fill up steadily throughout our time there. The carvery area had plenty of choice for veg and trimmings, the meat looked and tasted succulent topped off with some good hearty meat gravy. If there was ever going to be a last meal then I'd have to say this would have been it. There's nothing like a roast dinner. Well I say that but you couldn't beat a mothers home cooked roast dinner. I didn't feel rushed, the staff had been attentive throughout and from looking around, including the facilities everywhere was clean and very presentable. One point of note the booth was just about managable for 6 off us given that two where children but another more space is definitely better for comfort.Despite that when it came to paying the bill I was initially having difficulty with my phone app (network reception) but the lady was most obliging in assisting me to resolve the issue and utilising the appropriate discount. All in all a very welcome and pleasant change to the experience I'd had at the Toby in Ormskirk last month so despite my reservations was not put off and prepared to give them another opportunity. And glad I did. Would I go back, yes.
