Nonno's Pizza And Plates - Liverpool

The service at this restaurant was disappointing with zero communication. Some staff members were very unhelpful, and I was left waiting for a long time without being informed that outdoor service was app-only.

A family of 12 had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really nice. What more could you ask for?

I have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened. The pizza and pasta are very reasonably priced compared to other places, and the service has always been excellent. The Italian manager is always great and we have always had a perfect experience every time we have visited. I find it hard to believe some of the overly critical reviews below, especially those complaining about toppings (it's just pizza and we're not in Naples) and recommending other local restaurants. Maybe I have simple tastes, but I can't find any faults with this place, especially when they offer a margherita pizza for £6.99! I have been fortunate enough to live in Italy, and while the food here is more tailored to British tastes, it is still very good. I am looking forward to dining here again soon.

Helpful friendly staff who are always available even when the place is really busy. The food is absolutely fantastic and well priced for the quality you get! Excellent surroundings and a warm social atmosphere.

We went on a Friday evening. It was not crowded when we arrived, but it was when we left around 9. We had several of the small plate appetizers, several pizzas, a salad, and a fungi sandwich. All were quite good. The pizza dough was amazing and cooked perfectly. It had just the right crispness and the crust was chewy. The ingredients were fresh and wonderful. We ended with the Nutella pizza for desert. The service was excellent! We had a large party and the prices were great with the tip included. They had a nice selection of craft brews as well. We were in Naples this summer and had some highly rated pizza there and Nonno’s stacks up with that.
