Mayflower - Liverpool

My four friends and i went out for what we thought would be a lovely dinner... the curry sauce was watery with no flavour, same goes for the satay sauce and the vegetable curry. The salt and pepper dishes were very poorly presented with no vegetables and hardly any 'salt or pepper. ' one of our dishes was completely forgotten about and arrived once we had finished our food without and apology, safe to say we didn 't eat it as it couldn 't have looked less appetising, usually this would be refunded, however, we had paid for the meal prior to eating as this is protocol in this restaurant. had a very poor experience when paying as the staff brought the bill at the same time as our food demanding we paid whilst some of us had a mouthful of food? over all, the food was mediocre at best and the staff were shockingly rude, i will not be back. ever. we are a lucky bunch to have such a good sense of humour that we laughed it off, however this was extremely disappointing and a waste of money as students.

We were stopping across road so got a takeaway for 5 of us. Personally i thought it was a little bit over priced because the takeaway was the same price as the sit in. Curry sauce was abysmal as was the Chicken in satay sauve. Rest of the dishes were ok. (didn't even chuck in any prawn crackers). We'll not be back next year

Really lovely Chinese food. Service is prompt and efficient. You order off the menu, mark what you would like and you pay before service. The food is memorable. Would come back and recommend in a heartbeat.

Well what can I say we visited on a Saturday early evening (6pm) and it was happy hour! the food was lovely we had 3 courses for £16.50 which is excellent value for money! I personally had crabmeat sweetcorn soup with prawn crackers, then ribs, spring rolls, wonton, and chicken toast followed by a main of schezwan chicken and fried rice. The food was very authentic and the staff where super friendly and Reece really looked after us well, we ended up staying for more drinks and in one of the Karaoke rooms they hire out above! It was one of the most random nights we have had but we all agreed it was so much fun! We will return 100%. Thanks again.
