Mr j. here a few weeks back and really enjoyed it. atmosphere and eating were excellent. I eat very often in monro and would have to say that the james monro will give them a good run for there money! will go back to Zertanily!

Best gastro in liverpool. after reading some of the views published here I was skeptical about my visit in the james monro. However, I was pleasantly surprised how excellent it was eating and how brilliant the staff was. I hope I will return regularly and encourage others to do so. this type of venue is a dying breed of original, different places where the place and the personal character have. I would like to encourage the people to come behind the playgrounds, as if we will not come to the left with terrible bones like mitchell and butler and wetherspoons! I am very disappointed by others critiken here give this place a bad picture and have come to the conclusion that obviously this place attracts the strange pretentious crank. but I will come back and hope to see you there as you enjoy the craic!

Excellent! Never heard that we were not sure what we expect. the menu was very good, many possibilities for all our group. we had not booked and we had luck that we found a table (we were 8 of us.) the staff was so friendly and that eating was amazing. I had grilled tuna steak and it was cooked to perfection. everyone loved it and we go back. 10/10

Best known as Kitty's Showbar. If you want a laugh, this is where you need to go. Lovely owner and good prices.
