What can I say but OUTSTANDING. Had the Christmas Tasting Menu and it was absolutely delish, every course was tasty, exceptional and hot. The cost of the 7 course meal is truly value for money. A big thank you to the chefs for an amazing meal well done. Keep up the good work and would highly recommend this to anybody. Can’t wait to return after the new year.

Fantastic lunch that you could tell used quality ingredients. All presented beautifully. Very tasty. Thank you to the kitchen staff. Atmosphere pleasant, nice background music. Staff were friendly but I agree with some previous comments. Even though I 'm sure guests are more than happy that students are learning, it did feel some things could have been a little better when it came to the restaurant side of things. E.g. Being briefed prior to guests ' arrival on things like how to welcome, what the menu was, selection of drinks available. Just polite observations that could be helpful feedback. It didn 't detract from the experience for us. Thank you for a nice time. Address was slightly tricky to find. It 's off Duke Street and at time of writing 'Il Forno ' restaurant is beside the entrance that you need to turn into. PS: I will definitely be returning.

We visited last week for the tasting menu, I've been a few times before but it was my friend's first visit. From start to finish, a wonderful experience. Each course was delicious. But the best part of the evening was the outstanding service we received from Connor...what a diamond he is. And a special thank you to Carol who keeps everything going brilliantly. We look forward to returning.

This was our first visit and will certainly not be our last. Everything was just lovely, a warm welcome from staff, fabulous food, couldn't fault anything. Following a friend's recommendation I booked on line to ensure we had a table and four of us really enjoyed our lunch. Well done everyone.

I’ve been before and know who good this restaurant is but my friends have not. They loved it. The food was of a very high standard. They choice on the menu was great. Two of the party do not eat fish and among the many courses was fish. An alternative was readily available. I thought the fish was fantastic. Absolutely no complaints. Five stars all round
