The Cheese Steak Shop - Livermore

The food always tastes amazing, but they package it so tightly that the bread often ends up quite soggy from the steam. Other than that, everything is fantastic!

I had an outstanding Classic Philly Cheesesteak here, and I’m quite particular when it comes to cheesesteaks. Having been to the original Cheesesteak shop in Philadelphia, I was pleasantly surprised by how closely this one matched it! The portion size was generous, and the combination of meat, cheese, and peppers was perfect. I've tried several cheesesteak spots in the Bay Area, but many of them don’t measure up to the portions here. They really got it right! Plus, the garlic-seasoned regular Steak Fries were also tasty!

I really enjoy the half hoagie. Everything is fresh and delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

The sandwiches were delicious. However, the onion rings were soggy and tasted stale, with an overly crispy texture that was burnt.

The sandwich was huge, I could only finish half.
