Popeyes - Livermore

I decided to give Popeye's another chance, hoping that my first visit was just a one-time bad experience. Unfortunately, I was correct in my initial assessment - the food was still awful. The fried chicken had a tough, greasy crust that was difficult to chew and could potentially cause damage to a tooth. The sides tasted strongly of artificial smoke and overall, the food seemed to be of poor quality. It was disappointing to once again have a negative dining experience at this establishment.

Cajun fish was overcooked. It looked like the fish was from the prior day and re-battered and cooked again. No honey for the biscuit and the cole slaw had pickles in it with thousand island dressing. The red beans and rice was floating in watered down sauce. Just terrible. Never again will i order from this Popeye location.

I found parchment paper inside my Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Bacon and Cheese Combo, and the rest of my food was stale.

I can't believe how pricey these meals are when the drumsticks are so tiny.

Best Popeyes in the world hands down!!
