We selected this pub for our family gathering to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. We traveled from Wales, Birmingham, Halifax, and Cheshire to come together. Our reservations had been made in advance, and the communication leading up to our visit was outstanding. On the day, we had a wonderful experience. The pub is fantastic, with exceptional service, a warm welcome, delicious food, a great atmosphere, and top-notch ales. We were all thrilled that we chose this venue for our reunion; it truly helped make the occasion feel special. We cannot express our gratitude enough.

This is a fantastic local country pub that exudes a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the food is wonderful. With roaring fires and a dog-friendly policy, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area.
